Fall Seasons Hat

I've been meaning to get a better picture of this knit, but I doubt that that's going to happen.  It's my first attempt at colorwork and I knit it using the recommended needle size, fearing that it would be too small.  It was a needless fear. The designer (the brilliant Jared Flood) took that into account by shifting needles for the colorwork.  Fulling didn't work either. It's gigantic.  So, instead of Glenn getting a new hat for his birthday, we have a strange brown tea-cozy.

Seasons Hat by Jared Flood knit in Brooklyn Tweed Loft (meteorite, wool socks, embers, barn own, and woodsmoke).
