Starfish Circus 2014

A wonderful night of music, comedy and cuddles (explanation in video).

This is the second year in a row that I have scrapbooked this event, and I wanted to do something new and different, yet bring the same energy I captured in last year's layout (here).  I started by choosing some red papers from BasicGrey's Mon Ami line, then added texture with paint, embossing paste, stitching, and wood veneer.

Supplies: Paper: BasicGrey (Mon Ami); Stamin' Up! cardstock; Strathmore watercolor paper; Alphas: American Crafts Minimarks (Kate); BasicGrey (Mon Ami); Thickers (unknown); Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (black soot); Studio Calico Color Theory (well red, sunny day); Paint: Liquitex Basics; Spray Ink: Heidi Swapp Color Shine (mustard, sweet cherry); Mister Huey's (warm calico); Stencil: Prima; Wood Veneer: Studio Calico; Washi: Queen & Co.; Stickers: BasicGrey (Mon Ami); MME (Cut & Paste); Other: Dreamweaver's embossing paste
