Color and Pattern Before Story

Get it Scrapped challenged its creative team to make a layout starting with color and pattern before photo.  The current blog article is here.

I've had green on the brain, partly because of the time of year and partly because we've just got from Iceland where the dominate colors were green, black, and white.

Supplies: Paper: K & Company; Alphas: Studio Calico, American Crafts Thickers (Rockabye); Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (mowed lawn, pumice stone); Spray Ink: Mister Huey's (Shine); Pearls: Freckled Fawn; Flair: Findingnana; Stencil (The Crafter's Workshop); Other: modeling paste

Detail shots:

  1. Love the texture on the white paper. And the green :)

  2. Really love the black paper with the title. Makes everything pop! Wonderful layout!

  3. Just a tad jealous that you had an opportunity to go to Iceland ๐Ÿ˜€

I love the texture on the white background and the strips of paper distressed and inked. Love this style.
