Chocolate Cupcake

A bit of a twist this time. I finished my Chocolate Cupcake layout several weeks ago, but was feeling that it was too plain for a beautiful, fun 2 1/2-year old, so I pulled off the background paper and layered it onto bright florals and added some glitter embellishments.  I've put together videos of both the initial process and the revision.

Supplies: Paper:  Basic Grey (Highline); Fancy Pants (As You Want), Studio Calico (Beach Towel, Smile); Alphas: American Crafts Thickers (Rockabye); Stamp: Hero Arts: Ink: Ancient Page (flannel grey); Spray Ink: Heidi Swapp Color Shine (amethyst), Mister Huey's (pretty pink); Stencil and Sitckers; Heidi Swapp; Die: Simon Says Stamp (hearts); Gems: Studio Calico; Pens: Gelly Roll, Faber Castell (Pitt Artist), Copics (BY25, R43, R46, R81, R85, B000, BG01, Y32, Y35, E34, E39, E47), Paint: Liquitex; Other: modeling paste

  1. Great idea - I've done that at least once too - totally switching out the base page. Love the pink and the more the better!!
