Grateful for this Life

Get It Scrapped's Creative Team was challenged to create bases first - before planning a layout.  The article, "Save Time, Play with Technique, and Use Scraps by Pre-Making Scrapbook Page Bases" can be found here.

For this challenge, I created a painted background, with a bit of stenciling for texture, which I then stamped and embossed.

This base then became this layout:

Supplies: Paper and Stickers: Carta Bella (Momento & Memories); Die Cuts: Kaisercraft (Collectables), Slice (Paper Reverie); Paint: Liquitex (white, gold), Studio Calico Color Theory; Spray Ink: Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz (blazing sun); Stamp: Fancy Pants; Ink: Versamark, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (tattered rose, worn lipstick, antique linen); Pearls: Dew Drops; Doily: Bo Bunny; Other: white detail embossing powder; gesso
