Merry and Bright

Throwback Thursday - I found a few pictures from a holiday crop five years ago and decided that I had to scrap them.  I've met some great people scrapbooking, and I love the reminder of how this hobby has helped me not only preserve memories, but create them as well.

Debbie and Amy at Get it Scrapped have been working hard to build a large collection of sketches/digital templates. The sketches, a benefit for members at the site, are based on layouts come from the more than fifty classes in the Get It Scrapped archives.  Using this sketch based on a layout by Kelly Noel, I created this layout:

Supplies: Paper: Cosmo Cricket (Art Angel); Alphas: American Crafts Thicker (Rockabye), BasicGrey; Ink: Versamark, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (everygreen bough); Copics: R46, R98; Embossing Powder: Ranger; Embossing Folder: Lifestyle Crafts; Stamp: Dina Wakley; Die: Sizzix; Stencil: Prima; Flair: A Flair for Buttons; Twine: Lawn Fawn; Vellum Envelop & Sequins: Studio Calico; Other: Dreamweaver's Embossing Paste, embroidery floss, wood veneer, washi
