Mont Saint Michel

When I was in France twenty years ago, my class took a trip to Normandy. I was in awe of the old walled cities along the coast. It is something that cannot be replicated in the United States, and I felt that Glenn should experience it as well.  I arranged a tour through Paris CityVision to Mont Saint Michel, a tidal island that is home to a thousand-year old monastery.

    1. I'm not a fan of tours, so it's hard for me to judge. For the Mont Saint Michel trip, we opted out of the tour, and just used Paris City Vision as transportation to the abby. Our guide in Bruges was nice, but not very informative. Her role seemed to be to get us to the city center to get us passes for the boat cruise and then we were able to explore on our own.
