Iceland Day 6 - Skogar and Vik

I was eagerly anticipating our day trip to Vik, with its stunning black beaches.   We stopped at Skogar on our way in, and took a short trek up to the top of Skogafoss. Then we went to Vik and walked along the beach in the rain, before stopping for lunch at Halldorskaffi.  Glenn is still raving about the lamb sandwich.   We explored the area a bit more by car. Unfortunately, Dyrhólaey is closed to protect the puffins during nesting season.

We're so sad that this was our last day. We've had a fabulous week, even in the cold rain.
