Water Drop

I've had a lot going on this winter/spring, and wanted a really easy knitting project. Something to keep my hands busy on the subway without deeming too much concentration. Drop Zone by London Leo was the perfect pattern. A large, stockinette shawl, it would normally be a tedious knit, but the simplicity was what I needed at the time.  The Woolen Rabbit Kashmir in the Water Study color way (June 2012 kit club) was the perfect yarn for this shawl. The merino, cashmere, nylon blend has a lovely drape, and even though this shawl was knit on large needles and is very light, the shawl will be very warm.

I would caution anyone knitting this pattern to be very careful in handling the shawl. Because it is knit in such a loose gauge, the stitches pull very easily
