All that Jazz

I had a lot of fun creating this layout during the Get It Scrapped online crop in June. I used the new We R Memory Keepers Indian Summer collection and a Crafter's Workshop stencil with white and cold paint to create a starburst with lots of energy on a dark background.  This technique would be great for pictures of  fireworks or sparklers.

Supplies: Paper, Alphas: We R Memory Keepers (Indian Summer); Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (walnut stain, broken china); Paint: Liquitex (white, gold); Spray Ink: Heidi Swapp Color Shine (gold, teal); Stencil: The Crafter's Workshop; Die: Spellbinders: Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug; Stamps: Pebbles (roller stamp), Hero Arts (journaling block); Punches: Stampin' Up! (scallop), EK Success (banner); Wood Veneer: Studio Calico; Flair: FindingNana

  1. Fabulous page! Love the stencil work!

  2. I am new to all this and I was wondering what kind of paper cutter you use. It looks so much better than mine.

    1. It's a Fiskar's portable paper trimmer, similar to this one available at joann.com:
