Two finished objects this week! When my Cascades sweater grew too big to carry with me, I cast on a new knitting project. Since Cascades was so complex, I picked an easy garter-stitch shawl for my travel project.
Dichotomy by Amy Miller was the perfect choice - easy enough that I did not need to have the pattern in front of me on the train, but some interest mixed in with short rows and intarsia.
Added bonus, I had not knit intarsia before, so I got to learn a new technique.
I also got to try a new yarn - two in fact - Into the Whirled Bethel Sock in the Whovian (blue) colorway and Into the Whirled Bukavu Sock in the Melange (orange) color way.
